Helping your child learn to play a musical instrument can be both easy and difficult as they grow up, and is a testament to the fact that all children learn music in different ways, and of course the same child can try out many different styles.
To help, Youth Music have put together a handy guide which will help introduce you to the benefits of a variety of teaching and learning methods.
As a leading UK charity that use music to transform the lives of children and young people, particularly those with the least opportunity, Youth Music drew upon their work of funding music projects for over 2.5 million children to put the guide together.
Download the guide here.
If this was of use to you, its worth signing up to the Youth Music newsletter, as they regularly carry out research in the music education sector.
